What Graduate Opportunities are available at CS2?

With offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Milton Keynes and Northampton; CS2 are in a perfect position to offer trainee and graduate roles, across the nation.

Our programmes are tailored to an individuals needs and interests but roles are focused on the following career paths; Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Architectural Design and AutoCAD.

What would I do as a Graduate at CS2?

Graduate day-to-day responsibilities vary depending on individual roles. However, all Graduates and Trainees work as part of the CS2 team; offering a dedicated, bespoke and professional service to help investors, occupiers, developers and agents to get the most from their built assets and investments.

Graduates are expected to pride themselves on delivering great customer service; creating the best possible outcomes for clients.

What qualifications do I need?

You will have needed to have completed a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited degree course such as building surveying, construction or building engineering.  If you have a non-RICS accredited degree, you will need to complete a post graduate course in surveying.

What is the interview process?

We want to see your full potential, which is why we will tell you exactly what to expect in your interview.  We recommend that you do plenty of research about what CS2 does, prepare for a competency-based question and show off your skill set as much as you can.  Overall it will be a relaxed and informal interview where just want to understand who you are and what your skill set is.  You will normally have just one interview and we will inform you of our decision in about a week.

Would Further Education Studies be considered by CS2?

So long as it lines up with the CS2’s goals and objectives and enhances personal development, we will definitely consider funding further education

When can I expect promotions and career progression?

CS2’s aim is to ensure that every Graduate Building/Quantity Surveyor becomes a fully-fledged Building/Quantity Surveyor as soon as they can and go on to develop into a senior role.  There is plenty of opportunity for promotion and we absolutely encourage it.
