The Challenge
St Joseph’s Catholic College required professional assistance in regard to a dispute between themselves, their contractor and the school. The dispute was in relation to numerous substantial defects that have occurred since the completion of the project.
The Solution
CS2 was appointed by St Joseph’s Catholic College as an expert witness in a dispute between their contractor, a large contracting party, and the school, in relation to numerous substantial defects that have occurred since the completion of the project. Our scope of services was initially to comment upon the standard of works undertaken at the property and employ specialists sub-consultants to advise on the specific issues. CS2 undertook a site visit to assess the above and produced a report with our findings. Should the dispute progress to arbitration or court action, CS2 will be required to provide comment at any hearing.
