The Challenge
CS2’s client Student Cribs were looking to acquire an occupied 49 bedroom student accommodation block that was formally used as a hospital.
The Solution
CS2 undertook a pre-acquisition survey on a block of 49 student beds in a 100 year old former hospital building. CS2 assessed its current condition with rooms already let and assessed proposals to extend the property through a mansard roof. Both mechanical and electrical engineers and structural engineers were organised to carry out further inspections following our findings.
CS2 are now refurbishing and extending the property, liaising with the local council and designing and project managing the development.
