The Challenge

Salford University required a full refurbishment of their previous tired and outdated classrooms, offices and store rooms in order to create new teaching spaces.

The works involved knocking through existing classrooms, offices and store rooms to create a new Teaching Room and two new Plinth Rooms (physiotherapy rooms) to be used for teaching and learning.

The Solution

Working as the client-side Project Manager, CS2 seconded Manchester Building Surveyor Lewis Wilkinson to the university, where he spends 3 days a week as part of their team. In this position, Lewis was able to integrate with the Salford University team to ensure a smooth and successful process, resulting in a high-standard teaching space for students and staff at the university.
