88% saving on a £6.3million dilapidations claim

The Challenge

A £6.3million dilapidations claim had been served on the world’s largest bottle manufacturer by their landlord.  They required a consultant to defend them against this claim and negotiate with the landlord’s surveyors to reach a substantially reduced settlement on the 90,000sqft property.

The Solution

CS2 defended the client’s position, resulting in a considerable saving from the landlord’s initial dilapidations claim.  CS2 negotiated with the landlord’s surveyor over several incarnations of their schedule of dilapidations, and specialist valuation advice was obtained to fine turn the landlord’s actual loss.
