The Challenge

Student Cribs purchased 5 Victorian residential properties in Liverpool during the 2014 summer recess. They required extensive refurbishment works and remodelling of internal floor plans to best utilise the space for student accommodation.  This required a strong level of project management and cost control to manage the £439,000 development ensuring it was complete when the new students moved in for the new academic year.

The Solution

CS2’s strength and skill within the student accommodation sector was crucial to produce refurbishment solutions for the alterations of 5 Victorian HMO properties within the tight programme. CS2 delivered the scheme from start to finish including an initial Building Inspection report, designing and tendering works, analysing tenders and managing project works to completion.

The works required CS2 to undertake an internal refurbishment including new kitchens, the new installation of heating systems throughout, new shower bathrooms, new flooring, replacement windows and internal and external redecoration.

Student Cribs was impressed with the finished development and have instructed CS2 on numerous further developments.
