The Challenge

Unite Group PLC required a full schedule condition for an adjoining wall prior to commencing construction of a new 300 bed student accommodation block.

The Solution

CS2 was appointed to represent Unite Group PLC as Party Wall Surveyor in the construction of a new main entrance and communal area to a student accommodation block. Although the adjoining owner consented to the works, a Schedule of Condition was prepared to reflect the condition of the wall prior to commencement of the works. This was prepared to reduce the risk of a dispute should the works have caused damage to the party wall.
