The Challenge

CS2 worked with Hamilton Land in project managing the development of two industrial units on Newmarket Business Park. Both buildings were let during the course of construction and therefore CS2 faced the challenge of incorporating the specialist fit out works required by the occupiers including the provision of recessed loading docks and a gantry crane system.

The developments totalled 100,000ft2 and featured large secure yards, car parking and access roads. Dense landscaping was provided to the north of the development to shield the buildings from an adjacent residential area.

The Solution

  • CS2 achieved the completion of both units ahead of the required time frame.
  • Despite a very restricted site, the development team were able to maximise the floor area achieved, whilst also creating very good external circulation.
