- Minimise self-funding of new building by selling planning approved residential scheme to a developer
- Maximise social value to current site
- Enhance current facilities
CS2 assisted YMCA by providing cost advice and full detailed cost plans for planning approval of the redevelopment proposal of their existing tired two-storey building in Welwyn.
The proposed redevelopment looks to transform their existing building and surrounding land into a new smaller footprint four storey state of the art 97-bedroom accommodation. The reduced footprint will allow for an additional separate second private residential block with planning approval that will be sold on by YMCA to a developer to support the funding of the construction of their brand-new YMCA building.
