Our client, a private developer, required assistance with the conversion of an existing three-storey shoe factory building into 54 apartments and construction of a 14 apartment new-build residential block (Brook House).
CS2 are carrying out pre & post cost consultancy services for the refurbishment of an old factory building into 54Nr apartments along with the construction of a new apartment block in Northampton.
CS2 led an enabling works package and assisted the Contract Administrator with the internal demolition and asbestos removal within the existing building whilst leading the tender process for the remaining works.
CS2 carried out a full take off and our in-house quantity surveyors produced a bill of quantities ensuring that tendering contractors submitted fair and accurate costs.
The project is currently in the post contract phase. CS2 are undertaking interim valuations, post contract cost control and final account agreement, working in conjunction with the Fund Monitor.
