The Solution
CS2 were appointed by Poundland to provide Pre-Acquisition Advice Building Surveying, Contract Administration and CDM Principal Designer Services for the refurbishment of their new customer support centre.
The existing building was a 1993 former HMRC office that had been unoccupied for 3 years. It comprised purpose-built offices over 3no. floor levels with a gross internal floor area of approx. 35,000sqft. The office areas were generally worn, tired and in need of refurbishment to bring them into a modern occupational standard.
CS2 worked with the client to successfully deliver this office refurbishment to a high standard improving the work environment for staff. Our involvement included pre-acquisition advice, feasibility planning, project management services, party-wall and dilapidations negotiations for outgoing tenants.
