The Solution
CS2 provided contract administrator and quantity surveying services on behalf of long-standing client DSV, for extension of their existing cross-dock operation in Purfleet, Essex.
The project comprised:
– Re-cladding and new load houses to the existing warehouse.
– New internal HGV drive-through to existing warehouse.
– Construction of a 25,000 sq ft warehouse extension.
– New 3-storey office.
– New pedestrian footbridge between new and existing offices.
– New bell mouth vehicle entrance and internal roads.
– External works.
Positive Outcomes:
- All of the works were completed while keeping the existing DSV cross dock facility fully operational.
