CS2: Framework Focus

This blog takes a look at Frameworks, something which CS2 have been actively focussing on; having successfully joined multiple Frameworks, as well as introducing the role of Bid Manager which enables us to tender for frameworks.
Focussing on tendering for frameworks puts CS2 in the arena to win new clients, but it is also advantageous to our current clients. Being on open-client frameworks allows existing clients to appoint CS2 safe in the knowledge that to have been awarded a framework spot, we have had our systems, accreditations, experience, fees and sector specific knowledge rigorously tested against our competitors. Furthermore, the Framework Providers for open-client frameworks can offer support to existing clients and help them to procure services that CS2 do not offer.
We have been successful with Framework awards for Thames Water, EN Procure, Procure Partnerships Professional Services, Gentoo, Flagship Housing and South Kesteven District Council. Services that we have been successful on include Sustainability services, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Property Valuation Services and Asset Management.
Rachel Johnstone joined CS2 in January 2020 as a Bid Manager and immediately set about setting up our bid management processes allowing us to strategically identify framework opportunities. Rachel has experience as a Bid professional in both Contractor and Consultancy environments and was able to hit the ground running and has worked on bids with and on behalf of all 7 CS2 offices. We spoke to Rachel, who said:
