The Challenge

Volkswagen Financial Services occupied two sites in Milton Keynes, one of which was Brunswick Court. Construction work was under way on their new headquarters building which would be occupied by much of their business, however, the Customer Experience arm of the business required its own ‘state of the art’ contact centre. The challenge was to refurbish to the same high standard of finish as the new HQ whilst attaining its own identity and specialism but sharing the key design themes.

The Solution

CS2 was instructed by VWFS to act as project manager and quantity surveyor on the refurbishment of their new customer experience centre. This involved assisting with design team appointments and managing the pre and post contract phases of the project through to completion.

To meet the exacting standards of the VW brands and ensure delivery of the project objectives, CS2 worked closely with Scott Brownrigg Interior Design, Scotch Partners M&E and Blend IT.

Following the design stages, CS2 were able to develop a bill of quantities and manage both pre-qualification and competitive tender stages, resulting in appointment of  a main contractor and the project management of both CAT B and CAT C fit out stages.

The outcome resulted in creating a space unrecognisable compared to the original.
