The Challenge
South African Logistics Fund, Equites required assistance with the funding and acquisition of a purpose built new regional hub for DPD.
The Solution
CS2 Associate Director Paul Goodliffe acted as Fund Monitor, assisting Equites with the development and acquisition of a new regional hub for DPD.
The unit was the first to be constructed at the HUB in Goddards Green, Sussex, the works also included site establishment, access roads and associated highways alterations.
CS2 undertook Due-Diligence on the scheme for Equites including ensuring the base contracts were robust and then regular monitoring of the project through the construction phase ensuring both quality of build and commercial compliance for the monthly draw down of funds.
The works have resulted in a happy tenant that has successfully moved in on-time, and a satisfied client that has a new asset with a tenant on a long lease.
