The Solution

Our client had strict planning conditions to work to, particularly regarding the energy efficiency of the building.   The commercial units were occupied to the ground floor, therefore we were required to working around the Tenant and outside of trading hours.  The Coronavirus Pandemic started mid-way through the project, which resulted in adapting to the restrictions on site.

CS2 appointed and managed a strong team of specialist consultants to ensure we met the efficiency standards stipulated by the Planning Conditions.  We were able to successfully achieve Planning Permission sign off, liaising closely with Sutton Council.  Working closely with the contractors, we were able to undertake works working around the existing tenants with minimal disruption.  The delays were kept to a minimum by restructuring of the programme amidst issues with manufacturing of the windows due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
