The Challenge
DSV were in the process of designing and constructing a new warehouse in Raunds, Northamptonshire. The clients were faced with the challenge of receiving their new warehouse within budget and to the strict deadline that was set.
The Solution
CS2 advised DSV from the inception to completion to ensure that their retail distribution hub was completed on time and on budget to meet their business operational needs. CS2 co-ordinated with the developers design team to ensure that key enhancements to the base build specification were met. This extended to the construction of pad foundations for mezzanine structures, a compartment wall to negate the need for a sprinkler installation, and extensive CAT C fit out works to the office and warehouse accommodation.
CS2 acted as Principal Designer for the fit out works post practical completion, and agreed the final account DSV variations.
