The concert is a major fundraising activity for both MKCO and The Parks Trust Charities, to continue their education and outreach work in schools and communities across the region.
Proms in Campbell Park will draw thousands of classical music lovers together for an evening of traditional classical favourites, in a delightful setting for all ages to enjoy and with a spectacular firework finale. MKCO are delighted to announce that Soprano, Ellie Laugharne will join the orchestra, under the baton of MKCO Music Director Damian Iorio,
CS2 are sponsoring a marquee and donating it to Willen Hospice UK for the event. This is enabling them to invite long-standing sponsors and partners to the event, as a thank you for their continued support. Two members of CS2 staff will be assisting Willen Hospice as volunteers for the day, setting up the marquee, serving drinks and generally helping out wherever they can. Willen Hospice is a registered charity that provides specialist care for people whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment. We will be keeping our fingers crossed for a dry sunny evening and digging out our Union Jack flags !
