The Challenge
In 2011 the Peel Centre, which was housed by the Furniture Warehouse, was devastated by a major blaze and has been left vacant for years. In 2016 new plans were approved by Wolverhampton council allowing the site to be redeveloped and CS2 are appointed as Employers Agent, managing the project for our client.
The Solution
CS2 were proudly instructed on behalf of the client, Bejam Group Ltd. By opening two units into one to reinstate the fire damage, the newly revealed Phoenix Retail Park is now the home of JD Gyms and the largest unit in the UK, for The Food Warehouse. Some of the other works involved levelling the floor slabs and re-laying the car park to new levels.
