Client Dr Martens required advice and assistance with the extension and fit-out of a their newly acquired retail unit in Ashford Designer Outlet. The space was to be fitted out in line with the other recently refurbished stores across the country, which CS2 have proudly Project Managed.
CS2 provided project management and monitoring services on behalf of Dr Martens. CS2 were introduced to Dr Martens pre-assembled supply chain, and quickly forged relationships with suppliers to ensure ordering deadlines could be met within the limited delivery programme.
CS2 tendered the project to 5No of contractors, introducing 2No contractors to Dr Martens Supply chain. Following successful tender and prequalification, a contractor who neither Dr Martens or CS2 had previously worked with was chosen to provide Shopfitting services.
The project was delivered within a 15 week programme, from CS2 instruction to store trading. The construction phase lasted 3.5 weeks and the store was handed over to Dr Martens store merchandising team in time to allow the unit to open on the Landlords official opening date of 3rd October 2019.
The project was completed on time and under project capex budget.
