CS2 worked to develop Newmarket’s redundant park and ride site, to the north of the town centre. The development was pre-let to Wickes and CS2’s challenge was to incorporate all of the retailer’s specialist requirements into the building, whilst working within the restraints of the planning permission granted.
The project comprised a 50,000ft2 trade retail unit incorporating staff facilities and showroom space at first floor level. The project also included a secure external sales area, customer car park and delivery yard. The project also included provision of access roads and car park to facilitate construction of two drive-thru’s which are currently within the planning process.
CS2’s attention to detail and quality documentation ensured that a superb facility was created that achieved accolades from within the trade retail group.
