The Challenge
CS2 were appointed to project manage the construction of Barnet Football Club’s new stadium facility following their move from Underhill. The project was very challenging, design and construction were completed between January to July, the new West Stand was at the closest point 3.5m from the foot of a structural embankment of London Underground’s Jubilee line and the site was a flood plain requiring a large amount of water attenuation. Despite these challenges the project was completed within the timescale and on budget.
The Solution
The works included the new pitch, grandstands, seating, terraces, concourses, barriers, turnstile blocks, floodlights, control rooms, toilets, home and away bars etc. Our role included managing designers, specialist contractors, statutory authorities and stadia safety bodies.
