Vaccination Centre, Northampton County Council – State of the art vaccination centre delivered in tight turnaround during Covid-19 pandemic.

CS2 were appointed by Northamptonshire County Council to provide Contract Administration, Architectural, and Cost Management services to collaboratively transform a vacant 22,750sq.ft. two-storey office building into an NHS-approved vaccination facility located in Northampton’s Moulton Park. Completed in just a mere 4-weeks, CS2’s team worked around the clock to cater to the council’s requirements, during the high-pressured environment, at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

CS2’s wealth of experience in refurbishment projects ensured that all client requirements were quickly defined, effectively implemented and objectives maintained throughout.

Masterplan for Salford, Salford City Council – CS2 assisting with the delivery of Masterplan for Salford and surrounding districts

Appointed on behalf of The University of Salford and Salford City Council, CS2 are assisting with the delivery of a masterplan for the University and the surrounding city districts. The masterplan will result in an £800 million investment that will transform both University’s estate and surrounding areas.

CS2 are assisting with the delivery of a number of key masterplan projects such as a new Robotics Research Facility and a new International Events & Conference Centre.

NHS Support Facilities, Northampton County Council – Delivery Of Emergency NHS Support Facilities In 6-week Turnaround During Peak Of Covid-19 Pandemic

CS2 were appointed by Northamptonshire County Council to provide urgent project management, cost consultancy, and design services for the full refurbishment of a former and disused care home during the peak of the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic.

CS2’s expertise in fit-out and refurbishment ensured that clear lines of communications remained throughout and during the unprecedented times. Strict processes were followed to quickly and effectively develop the clients brief, procure, and project manage the works from start to completion resulting in a successful project delivery despite the many obstacles presented as a result of the pandemic.

Bedford Shopping Arcade – Fully-leased hub of activity in previously forgotten retail space

CS2 have worked with the asset manager and Landlord in a gradual refurbishment and repurposing of the Victorian shopping arcade, now fully leased by independent retailers. The client, Bedford Borough Council said: “There is just one empty unit remaining in Bedford’s Old Arcade as three unique new independent shops are opening there in the next two weeks. The range of shops within the Arcade are challenging the role of the high street and creating a new and flourishing narrative within the town centre”.

Whole Life Cycle Costing – Central Bedfordshire Council

CS2 are currently undertaking a Whole Life Cycle costing exercise on assets being constructed alongside those on the existing estate for Central Bedfordshire Council.
