The Challenge
Our client, Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS), required a new HQ building and refurbishment of one of their existing buildings. The clients’ goal was to provide a first class working environment with a BREEAM excellent rating and to ensure that the occupants of the refurbished building did not feel the poor relation to those in the new HQ building.
The Solution
CS2 was appointed by Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS) to assist with opening a new HQ building and a refurbishment of one of their existing buildings. CS2 was engaged to work with the design team and the client’s many tiers of management from an early stage. The new HQ building provided many challenges in terms of providing a high level of technical specification within the approved budget.
A continual value engineering process was successfully managed by CS2 with the final account being 5% less than the approved budget.
